Industrial + Experience Design Consulting

Providing freelance design support for brands and individuals, including physical product design, display design, exhibit design, and retail experience design. Supporting through all phases, including concept development, renderings, prototypes, user testing, and technical drawings. This also includes supporting brands strategically as they translate digital experiences into physical experiences, prioritizing insights on how humans intuitively interact with physical objects and spaces. 

3D Printing

Providing 3D printing services - this could be printing a completed file, or it could include 3D modelling as well (either minor adjustments or building from scratch). Files are printed on Bambu Lab X1C printers in PLA filament. 

Textile Art Installations

Creating small or large scale textile installations commissioned for a specific location. This includes design work, material sourcing, prototypes, and fabrication. Some previous examples of larger work include Fieldwork, a recent interactive textile installation at the AGO and the cross stitch wall installation at Patria restaurant. Some smaller examples include the Tabule restaurant photo embroidery project. 

Embroidery Workshops

Laura enjoys sharing the tactile joys of embroidery with others, and embroidery workshops are a great introduction to the experience. Laura has run several workshops using her embroidery kits, and looks forward to running more in the future (like in January 2026).
