About the event
Join us for a workshop to learn how to make a Card Wallet Embroidery Kit with Laura Carwardine!
Laura recently designed an embroidery kit that creates a functional embroidered card wallet in a vibrant colourful plaid pattern. In this workshop, everyone will receive one kit and Laura will guide you through the process, from learning where to begin to how to do the stitches and finishing details. Each person can choose one of three colours: yellow, pink, or blue.
The card wallet kit includes everything you need and uses two stitches: continental stitch and whip stitch. The full colour instruction book includes a counted pattern as well as both diagrams and photos to help explain the stitches, how to begin and end threads, and how to assemble the wallet. This project fits a few cards and could be used as a small wallet or perhaps given as a gift with a gift card inside.
